KIT020 TOTAL ALKALINITY & pH TESTING KIT
Preparation
- Take 25ml of water sample in the test bottle (No-1 )
- Add 4 - 5 drops of Total Alkalinity Reagent-2 (TA - 2) and mix until an orange yellow colour develops.
- Add Total Alkalinity Reagent-l (TA - 1), shake well after each drop until the colour changes from orange yellow to orange red.
- Count the no. of drops of TA - 1 required for colour change.
Total Alkalinity: no. of drops x 5
(p.p.m. in terms of CaCO3)
pH (0-10)
- Take 10ml of water sample in the test bottle (No-1)
- Add 3 - 4 drops pH-Reagent-1 (pH - 1) and mix well. The colour that forms is compared with the pH colour chart.
KIT030 TOTAL HARDNESS TESTING KIT
Preparation
- Take 25 ml of water sample in the test bottle (No- 1)
- Add 10 drops of Total Hardness reagent-2(TH-2) and mix.
- Add few specs of Total Hardness reagent- 1 (TH- 1) and mix until a distinct pink colour develops.
- For Hard water, add Total Hardness reagent-3 (TH-3), shake well after each drop until the colour changes from pink to blue.
Count the no. of drops of TH-3 required for colour change.
Total Hardness = no. of drops x5
(p.p.m. in terms of CaCO3)
- For soft water, add Total Hardness reagent-4 (TH-4), shake well after each drop until the colour changes from pink to blue.
- Count the no. of drops of TH-4 required for colour change.
Total Hardness = no. of drops x 2
(p.p.m. in terms of CaCO3)
KIT010 ALIZARIN TESTING KIT
